Downtown Hollywood Dream Car Classic Invites a New Generation

On the first Sunday of every month Hollywood Boulevard boasts Model T’s, Corvettes, GTO’s and so much more. The Downtown Hollywood Dream Car Classic features the finest collection of classic, modern and custom cars in this public display of auto utopia.

And here’s the rub, attendance is FREE! Bring your feet and hit the street!

The street is cordoned off from 19th to 20th Avenue, creating an automobile extravaganza. “Cobra” Joe Bevelacqua credits the venue for much of the success and uniqueness of this world-class, family friendly event.

“Not only do other car show promoters express envy of our tree-lined, iconic stage,” Cobra Joe beams, “but the late George Barris (designer of the 1966 Batmobile, K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and the Beverly Hillbillies’ flatbed truck) and Dennis Gage (host of the popular television series “My Classic Car”) raved about our very unique Downtown Hollywood spectacle.”

Many local cafés and restaurants open early and offer breakfast, brunch and lunch specials. This cavalcade of cars runs from 10am - 3pm with vendors, music and the most eclectic collection of classics, neo-classics and custom cars imaginable. In a single block you may experience everything from a 1958 Ford Edsel to a 1974 Citroën D Special to a 2016 Dodge Viper.

Cobra Joe is keen on being inclusive and encouraging the new generation of auto aficionados to participate by embracing the myriad of street machines that encompass all eras and motifs.

“The event is the ultimate old meets new meets tomorrow of car shows,” said Jorge Camejo, Executive Director of the Hollywood, Florida Community redevelopment Agency.

The Dream Car Classic is a street fair, only the rides aren’t Ferris wheels and merry-go-rounds, but rather a mix of sassy chassies, four-speed dual-quad positraction 409’s, little red Corvettes and a whole lot more.

The first Sunday of every month is fun, fun, fun (and you might just see that T-Bird her daddy took away). The Dream Car Classic is held on the first Sunday of every month from 10am – 3pm on Hollywood Blvd (between 19th & 20 Avenue). Admission is free. Vehicle registration is $20. On-site registration from 8am – 10am or pre-register at www.cobrajoeproductions.com or call 954-825-1027 for more information.
