Building a Tree Canopy 
As part of the new fence code, landscaping required in conjunction with the installation of permanent or temporary fencing must provide one canopy tree every 30 feet on center along the hedge row between the fence and the street frontage. The canopy tree should be at least 10 feet overall height at planting.
